In June and July we will be building upon our series on the Sermon on the Mount and unpacking the life of Jesus in The Book of Matthew. Come each week ready to look deeper into the life of Jesus, to know him more and to walk in his ways.
Worship with us and hear God’s Word every Sunday at 9:30am and 11:30am! It’s a great time of corporate celebration, worship and ministry; and also a launching pad to all the other ministry and community that happens throughout the week.

Dr. Bill Shuler
Pastor Bill Shuler and his family moved to the Washington, D.C. area on September 1, 2001 with a call from God to pioneer a ministry. Ten days later the Nation’s Capital and the world was shaken amidst terrorist strikes on the Pentagon and World Trade Center. In response to these tragic events, a national headquarters for prayer was leased one block from the U.S. Capitol building on September 12, 2001. This was the start of Capital Life Church. Dr. Billy Graham expressed his appreciation for the “Godly heritage that continues through the Shuler family”. Dr. Graham’s biographer, William Martin, noted that Bill’s father, evangelist Jack Shuler, was “at least as popular as Billy Graham” during the 1940′s and 1950′s. Los Angeles Magazine called Bill’s Grandfather, Robert Shuler, the “first of the great radio preachers”. “Fighting Bob” Shuler pastored the famous Trinity Methodist Church in the heart of Los Angeles, California.Bill holds a Bachelors and Masters degree in theology and is currently pursuing his Doctorate of Ministry at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. He was appointed by the Attorney General to serve on the National Advisory Committee on Violence Against Women. He and Lisa have been married since 1988 and have three daughters.
