God hears and He answers
As the prayer ministry of Capital Life Church, we are committed to prayer and intercession for the local church body, church leadership, and those in need. We lift up the name of our Savior on others’ behalf and build one another up through the peace and power of the Holy Spirit. We teach others to pray by example, teaching, discipling, corporate prayer and altar ministry. Our mission is to inspire and encourage a meaningful prayer life for each church community member.
Hello Everyone! Today, we had our homeless Local Outreach at the DC Community for Creative Non-Violence and a few of the residents requested for prayers and to be led to Christ. A scripture-based leaflet was included with each meal which they could turn in for needed prayer. Prayer cards were also available. A few residents turned in theirs and asked for collective prayers and intercession. Their names have been partially omitted to protect their identity.
God’s Children, let’s lift these requests before God in our prayer altars and plead their case before our Father:
CB recently underwent herniorrhaphy and requests we pray for speedy recovery. She also wants us to pray for her son, J and her daughter K, for God to heal them from sickle cell anemia and lupus respectively.
S wants us to pray for a sound mind, shelter and an in-filling of the Spirit.
C wants us to pray that God provides housing for her. She also wants us to pray that God’s purpose and plans in her life comes to pass. She also wants us to pray God’s blessing upon her life as well.
F wants us to pray that God connects her to her life partner and for God to open doors on her behalf.
In addition to these, someone was stabbed multiple times just around the corner of the block where we served. Emergency responders were on scene to help. Let’s pray for the victim that God will heal him, mind, soul and body; And that God will use this event to touch the hearts of many in the shelter to seek Him. God bless you.
