As the prayer ministry of Capital Life Church, we are committed to prayer and intercession for the local church body, church leadership, and those in need. We lift up the name of our Savior on others’ behalf and build one another up through the peace and power of the Holy Spirit. We teach others to pray by example, teaching, discipling, corporate prayer and altar ministry. Our mission is to inspire and encourage a meaningful prayer life for each church community member.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus. This outline has guided my prayers over the years and taught me to approach the Father in a worshipful supplicant’s attitude requesting things from a position of thankfulness. We need to realize that whatever healing, breakthrough or petitions we trust God for, must come from His love for us. We need to seek, ask and knock. Heartwarming joy comes from having a complete body, soul and spirit experience in which all we need is Jesus. In other words, we need to integrate ourselves in His personality deeper than ever before especially in a time like this; to be homogenized, not pasteurized; To open our hearts, souls and minds, as one body in Christ, to His presence and instruction.
Yesterday, we shared a meal and fellowship with residents of the DC Community for Creative Non-violence and a few of them dropped requests to be prayed on:
H.H wants us to pray for her salvation as well as for her entire family and friends
M.T is asking the Lord to bless him, find him a job and a home for him and his daughter
E.H. is desiring prayers for him and his family
B is asking for prayers for her family
F desires to be closer to God and is seeking God for His provision
J is asking for prayers for his faith and for his entire family to be saved. He just got back from visiting and worshipping with them.
These requests will also be posted on the prayer wall of the CLC website.
God bless you as you intercede at the throne of mercy on behalf of these ones.
