P28 Prayer

Let’s Pray

As the prayer ministry of Capital Life Church, we are committed to prayer and intercession for the local church body, church leadership, and those in need. We lift up the name of our Savior on others’ behalf and build one another up through the peace and power of the Holy Spirit. We teach others to pray by example, teaching, discipling, corporate prayer and altar ministry. Our mission is to inspire and encourage a meaningful prayer life for each church community member.

Prayer Requests     Testimonies

Caitlin Wright

Ok! Another amazing testimony from my coworker I had written about earlier today. Tracy didn't mention this to me earlier because she said she was still processing it all. She couldn't believe what was happening with her.

When Tracy and I started our shift with eachother on Thursday I said to her lets pray. I had no idea why but I knew we needed to pray. So I started us off with praying for the day and then started praying for Tracy. I wasn't far into prayer for Tracy when the tears came rolling down her face and it stopped prayer and sparked conversation.

Tracy has been through a lot! She is 50, has had 2 heart attacks, has been on heart medicine since 2006 twice a day, was not getting any sort of rest, she was tired and stressed, confused why she has been going through all of this and she wasn't sure she was hearing from God and she wanted to be able to hear from him so badly.

We spent every moment we could talking during our shift Thursday. At the end of the day I brought her into the New Testament Theater and we talked a little more than I prayed for her for all the things we had been discussing. I prayed for her when I got home as well.

I hadn't seen her or spoken to her until today. If you read my previous post you know that she finally heard from God clearly for the first time! Praise Jesus!

Here is where it gets even more amazing! We are doing our final walk through and I come across Tracy's post and she goes "I have to tell you something!" She has been getting rest ever since Thursday. She said Thursday night it felt like a balloon was popped and all the air came out aka all her stress and things were released from her. AND SHE HAS NOT HAD TO TAKE ANY HEART MEDICINE SINCE THURSDAY!!!!!

How amazing is Jesus!! She has been suffering since 2006 and is finally being broken free from all these things! Please help me continue in praying for Tracy because we know the enemy is not going to happy about all this and try to knock her back down in any way. She has a doctors appointment about her heart this Wednesday please pray for her that it will go well.

Praise Jesus!!!!!!! God is good!!!!!
