Sundays | 9:30am & 11:30am
Spark offers a place for children from Nursery through 5th grade a place of their own to develop their own relationship with God through age-appropriate lessons and hands-on fun. Using the Orange curriculum, we partner with parents to teach all children how they are made in the image of God. We believe that it’s never too early to learn about Jesus and His amazing love for us!
Nursery and Toddlers
(Nursery: 3mo – 23mo | Toddlers: 2yrs – 3yrs)
Parents can bring their babies to the classroom beginning 15 minutes before service starts. Sometimes, parents choose to keep the babies in church through worship, but we do ask that they come down no later than that since we do have actual class for the toddlers. Unfortunately, parents cannot stay in the rooms with their children, as it poses a safety hazard and we do not have background checks on file for parents like we do for teachers. If you are new to the Nursery, you may be asked to show ID when you pick up your child as another safety precaution.
(Pre-K: 4 – 5 yrs old)
Our Pre-K class begins at the same time as Sunday service (at 9:30 or 11:30) to ensure the children have enough time to play, but also learn their Sunday School lessons. We have worship with the kids, as well as Bible stories, crafts, and other fun activities.
One of the things we’re very excited about is that we have a full-on Kids Church service for grades K-5! This is a really fun time for the kids, which also begins at the start of service, and includes games, skits, live worship of their own, a Bible story, and then a time to get into smaller groups for practical life application.
Our Spark Kids team is made up of teachers who have a heart to see children grow in God. One of the best ways parents connect with one another, teachers, and their own children is by requesting access to our closed Parents@CLC Facebook group.
We love feedback and are here to answer any questions you might have. Feel free to send us an email at family@CapitalLife.org
