You have a story to share!
Our church family would love to celebrate with you how you’ve seen God answer prayers, whether in big or small ways. As we worship and love our Father in Heaven, He shows us His truth, redemption—and miracles—even in the midst of life’s great difficulties.
Today I went with friends from CLC to Pentagon City Mall to walk around and pray for people. The group I was with we came across this man named Jei and when we asked if we could pray for him he said sure, that he converted to being Muslim when he was around 5 or 6 but would like us to pray for him and asked if we could pray for his love life. We prayed and then stayed and discussed what he did at the counter he was working at.
Through staying we were able to learn a little bit more about him and share some of how God shows love and works in our lives. Jei was interested, and told us that we are probably the only people he has really let pray for him out of all the people that have ever come up to him and asked if they could pray for him. He said we had an energy about us and he said maybe this is God’s way of starting to work on him by letting us pray for him. Towards the end of us talking it seemed like Jei was starting to pull away and as I was looking around God spoke to me and gave me the name Nick.
I jumped in and said to Jei “this might seem odd and I don’t know if it will mean anything to you but do you or your coworker know a Nick??” He looked at me and said “yea…..” and I asked who he was and Nick is his boss. I asked if they knew if Nick was maybe going through something or if there was something on them about Nick. They weren’t sure so I prayed for them again and Jei was so mind blown that I had received that name he kept asking me if someone had sent me a text. I told him I knew no one in this mall or anyone that knew him and I did not receive a text. I wish I could write down in words his expression. Franny one of the girls I was with explained that it was a word of knowledge and it was God speaking to me. Today made an impact in his life in a way we may never know or understand but doors opened for him today all because we stepped out and asked if we could pray for him. I am praying to stay in touch with him and get updates. God is good!!

I will extol the Lord at all times; his praise will always be on my lips. I will glory in the Lord; let the afflicted hear and rejoice. Glorify the Lord with me; let us exalt his name together.
