Overflow teaches and encourages women to lead lives that are empowered by and submitted to the Lord so we may overflow with the Spirit in all that we do.  Women are pulled in many directions every day to meet the demands of work, family, relationships, and more, making it all the more important that we are anchored to the Spirit and able to reflect the Spirit to those around us.

Overflow is currently in a series on body, mind and spirit, in which we are learning how to achieve health and wholeness in all three areas.  Body, mind and spirit are inextricably linked – unhealthy living in any one area will impact the whole.

Romans 15:13
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.

Isaiah 61:1-4
1 The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, 2 to proclaim the year of the LORD’s favor and the day of vengeance of our God, to comfort all who mourn, 3 and provide for those who grieve in Zion— to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the LORD for the display of his splendor.
