Just a Thought

In the story of Nehemiah, we learned that not only are we supposed to pray for those that are in need but we also learned that we shouldn't wait for someone else to do what needs to be done."  You see, Nehemiah stepped up to rebuild the wall, and because he took the first step, the King of another nation saw his passion and love for his city and provide resources and safe passage for Nehemiah.  The other thing we learned was that once he got there and started rebuilding, the community around him got behind this idea of rebuilding.
We are currently going through a time of rebuilding in Family Ministry.  We know with growth, there are growing pains and we are seeing the need to ask God for more volunteers to help with this increase.  My prayer is that each one of us would look to see where God is at work, then join in where He is at work.  I believe that God is at work in family ministries and we need volunteers to help rebuild this ministry.

Currently, we have six teams that we could use help in.  Nursery, Toddlers, Pre-K, Kids Church, Check-In, and Student Ministries.  We are specifically looking for small group leaders, Lead Teachers, and volunteers to serve on the check-in team.

Do you or someone you know, have a heart for kids or young people or would just love to use your gifts for reaching the next generation, now is the time to say "yes" to serving in Family Ministry.  We have an easy onboarding process that we've worked hard to make joining family ministry as painless as possible.  Prayerfully consider this life-changing opportunity to share the love of Christ with our kiddos and students!

Love and appreciate each of you and your wonderful families!  See you on Sunday!
