As the prayer ministry of Capital Life Church, we are committed to prayer and intercession for the local church body, church leadership, and those in need. We lift up the name of our Savior on others’ behalf and build one another up through the peace and power of the Holy Spirit. We teach others to pray by example, teaching, discipling, corporate prayer and altar ministry. Our mission is to inspire and encourage a meaningful prayer life for each church community member.
CLC Local Outreach
We had many residents of the DC Community for Creative Non-Violence ask for prayers during the Local Outreach last Monday. With each meal, we included a bible based word at the bottom of each slip that they can turn in for needed prayer. A few residents turned in theirs and asked for collective prayers and intercession. Their names have been partially omitted to protect their identity (only the first letters of their names will be used).
God’s Children, let’s lift these requests before God in our prayer altars and plead their case before our Father:
S asks us to pray for God to deliver her from depression and grant her mental, Physical and mental health. She also desires a career in journalism and requests we ask God to guide her in this desired path and provide the means and housing as well. She also requests we pray that the gift of salvation she has received will be permanent in her life.
M asks us to pray for God’s peace and love to take over her heart and life
A asks us to pray for his salvation and for him to remain in the godly path
M is a Muslim and desires that the gift of salvation which he has received to grow
J desires we pray for him to possess a godly character. He also wants us to pray for his sanity and for God to endow him with strength
Let us humbly lift up these ones including our community before God that His love will be manifested in and through our lives to those in need of Him. Let us ask Him for wisdom to be intentional in focusing on what He expects of us each day keeping our eyes fixed on Him and abiding in His peace Mt 5:43-48 (MSG). God is not unfaithful to forget your good works. No good deed is hidden forever. ITim 5:25(MSG) God bless you.
