A Step Beyond Good Intentions
Good intentions are not enough. In this powerful message, Pastor Bill Shuler unpacks one of Jesus’ most thought-provoking parables—the Good Samaritan—to challenge us to move from words and ideas into action.
Through the contrast of the robbers, the priest and Levite, and the Samaritan, we see three different attitudes toward others:
1️⃣ What’s yours is mine, and I’ll take it.
2️⃣ What’s mine is mine, and I’ll keep it.
3️⃣ What’s mine is yours, and I’ll share it.
God calls us beyond self-preservation or self-interest, into sacrificial love that changes lives. Even the smallest deed can exceed the grandest intention when it reflects Christ’s love in action.
📖 Key Themes:
✅ Why small deeds often speak louder than big intentions
✅ The heart of the Good Samaritan as a model for discipleship
✅ Loving others with sincerity and generosity (Romans 12:9-13)
✅ Welcoming strangers and showing hospitality (Hebrews 13:2)
✅ Moving from intention to transformation through action
This message will inspire you to put love into practice in practical, powerful ways.
