Psalm 136
What does it mean to experience a love that never gives up, a mercy that never runs dry, and a faithfulness that endures through every season of life?
In “Psalm 136: His Steadfast Love Endures Forever,” Dave Buehring explores the Hebrew word Hesed—God’s steadfast love, mercy, lovingkindness, and faithfulness. Through the repeated declaration, “His steadfast love endures forever,” Psalm 136 reminds us that God's character remains constant through creation, history, and our personal lives.
From God's power as Creator to His deliverance of Israel and His provision for His people, we see a God who keeps His promises and never abandons His own. Through the story of David and Mephibosheth, we also discover that steadfast love runs toward us, restores us, and raises us up.
This message invites us to recognize God's enduring goodness, live with gratitude, extend kindness to others, and walk humbly with Him.
