Rooted Giving Campaign October 2026
Rooted Giving Campaign
Partner with us this October as we look toward the future of Capital Life Church and our community! We’re excited to launch the Rooted Campaign, a special giving initiative focused on investing in the next generation, reaching our community, and creating spaces where people can grow in their relationship with Jesus.
The heart of this campaign is found in Colossians 2:7: “Rooted and built up in Him and established in the faith…” Our prayer is that, together, we would grow deeper roots in Christ and invest in a lasting foundation for generations to come.
This month we are focusing on becoming more deeply rooted in Christ and investing in what God is doing through Capital Life Church. Together, we want to disciple new believers, raise up the next generation, reach our community, and create warm, welcoming spaces where people can encounter Jesus—both inside and outside our church building.

Rooted: Investing in the Future
The Next Generation
Youth Ministry – As part of our Rooted Giving Campaign, we’re investing in the next generation by working toward hiring a dedicated Youth Director to encourage, disciple, and teach our students what it means to know and follow Jesus.
Research from the Barna Group has found that two-thirds of Americans who accept Jesus as their Savior do so before the age of 18. That makes the teenage years a significant opportunity to help young people build a lasting foundation of faith.
We care deeply about our families and want to provide our students with a godly leader who will walk alongside them, teach them Scripture, help them grow in their relationship with Jesus, and equip them to live out their faith. Through Rooted, we have the opportunity to invest in students today and help shape the church of tomorrow.

Outreach
New Monument Church Sign – One of the blessings of our location is that we are right along North Glebe Road, where thousands of people pass by each day. In fact, many people who attend Capital Life have shared that they first discovered our church simply by driving past and deciding to check us out!
Through the Rooted Campaign, we hope to raise funds to update the monument sign on our front lawn. A new sign will help people easily find our church while creating a warm and inviting presence in our community. We want Capital Life to be visible, welcoming, and easy to find for everyone who passes by.

Lobby Refresh – As we reach out to newcomers and continue fostering community at Capital Life, we want our church to feel warm, welcoming, and inviting from the moment people walk through the doors. Through the Rooted Campaign, we hope to refresh our lobby—a space where we host newcomer lunches, Life Group gatherings, help people get connected on Sunday mornings, and gather before and after services.
Our desire is to create a space that is beautiful, functional, and welcoming, providing a place where people can connect, build relationships, and feel at home in our church community.

Events – At Capital Life Church, we want to create opportunities to reach beyond our church walls and invite our broader community to experience the love of Jesus. Events are a wonderful way to build relationships, create a sense of belonging, and connect people who may be looking for community or a church home.
Through the Rooted Campaign, your giving will help make these outreach events possible—creating opportunities for people to encounter Jesus, find meaningful community, and discover a church where they can grow in their faith.

Next Steps
We are SO excited about all that God is doing through Capital Life Church. As a church family, we have invested time, money, and resources to expand His kingdom and bless families in need. We want to be a Headquarters of Hope for people who desperately need God's love. There are many places that people go to seek comfort. We want Capital Life to be a place where people can come to gain wisdom, community, and a deep relationship with Jesus.
We would love for you to be a part of making this vision and dream come to life. You are part of God's bigger story at Capital Life. We ask that you pray and consider what you'd like to give toward our Rooted Campaign this season. Thank you for your generosity!
