Day 7: Pray for a renewed mind.
We need to have renewed minds in order to see things with God’s perspective. We can pray that God’s Word penetrates deeply and uproots old thought patterns and establishes new ones.
Romans 12:2 – “Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.”
2 Corinthians 10:5 – “We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.”
Romans 8:6 – “The mind governed by the flesh is death, but the mind governed by the Spirit is life and peace.”
